All patients fullfilling the WHO definitions of someones
suspected of Ebola (see WHO page: http://www.who.int/csr/disease/ebola/en/)
should not be sent to any of the regional hospitals for treatment
or diagnostics (including lab-work). This includes labwork, ordered
by GBs or other.
The patient should be sent to the Radboud university medical
centre, ermergency room.

iPrevent is een samenwerking van de infectiepreventieafdelingen
van het UMC St Radboud en het Canisius Wilhelminaziekenhuis met als
doel verregaande samenwerking met betrekking tot infectiepreventie
in de regio te realiseren. Op dit moment participeren reeds de Sint
Maartenskliniek, het Maasziekenhuis Pantein en een grote
hoeveelheid verpleeghuizen (ZZG, Pantein, Zorggroep Maas en Waal,
Kalorama e.a.) in de regio Nijmegen in dit netwerk.
Mission Statement
iPrevent is a regional Infection Control group devoted to
improve, innovate and standardize the prevention of
healthcare-associated infections in all healthcare settings and
overlapping area's of public health.
Our mission is to help patients to feel safe, motivate, encourage
and support healthcare-workers to apply state-of-the-art infection
control measures, and to create innovative solutions to improve the
field of infection control and prevention.
Together, we believe that all patients deserve the same,
standardized, high-end care with regard to applied infection
control.
